We are a cultural-linguistic and consulting centre that brings America closer to the West Bohemian public.

All our activities are open to the public – whether you are a primary or secondary school student, a teacher, a university student, an employee or a senior, you can come to all our interesting events for free.

And what does the American Center Pilsen offer you?

We organize a whole range of events that anyone can visit for free, such as a regular conversation club, film club, book club, seminars and discussions with American and Czech experts.

At the same time, we provide counselling in the area of studying at American high schools and universities, obtaining scholarships and getting opportunities for part-time jobs in the USA.

Primary and secondary schools regularly come to our centre to attend seminars concerning the USA; we work with volunteers and provide access to the American library and the online database collection eLibraryUSA.
