TRANSLATING ACTIVITY
The Institute of Applied Language Studies provides quality translation services ensuring consistency of translations, uniform terminology and linguistic correctness of the translation. We have an experienced team that guarantees quality; translated texts undergo thorough internal proofreading. We provide translation services both to UWB Parts and external entities (according to the team's current capacity). The standard translation time is 2-3 weeks for texts under 20 standard pages; longer texts may require more time. Texts for translation should be in an editable format (ideally MS Word). PRICE LIST FOR TRANSLATIONS AND PROOFREADING
Translations
The price for a standard page (NS) corresponds to a text of 1800 characters, including spaces.
a) Translation from Czech into a foreign language
General language: from 450 CZK/NS
Technical language: from 500 CZK/NS
Express translation: from 550 CZK/NS
b) Translation from a foreign language into Czech
General language: from 350 CZK/NS
Technical language: from 400 CZK/NS
Express translation: from 500 CZK/NS
Proofreading of foreign language texts (by native speakers)
General language: CZK 150/NS
Technical language: 180 CZK/NS
Proofreading of Czech texts
Price: by agreement
Language assistance with presentation preparation
Price: 300-350 CZK per lesson
Audit of language skills of employees
In the form of a written test at the workplace or on UWB premises
Price: CZK 650 per person in a group of up to 10 people. For larger groups, the price is negotiable.
