Latin department
The one-semester compulsory course of the Latin language for healthcare studies introduces you to medical Latin as a foreign language. You will use Latin later in your professional practice; it will also significantly help you when studying another course: anatomy. During your studies, you will see "behind the curtain" of Latin, so to speak: you will understand the regularities of Latin expressions and terminology in general.
